Thoughts: Manipulation, Preparation and How to Tie Knots.

Finished rereading Zeke’s blog today when something he said struck a chord. We post this shit but never preface it with a warning at all. Those always come several posts in. Warning people off of reading so they don’t get infected/tagged/marked whatever you’d like to call it. Not even my fucking own has a warning.

The really strange thing is none of the blogs I’ve read ever open with a warning. Even when someone is in the know or has been on the run already. So what… We’re all just inconsiderate asses pulling other people in? Or do we go into predisposed to not posting an opening warning? Is He subconsciously affecting us on a wide scale in that manner?

Yay for more questions that answers.

Now for something important. This isn’t my work. No credit to me at all.

M’s rules  http://getuphigh.blogspot.com/2010/06/3-rules.html

1. Get up high
2. Keep moving
3. Keep your eyes open
*addendum Stay away from the trees.

That is just a summary of what he posted. Go read his blog for more in depth info on each. I even provided a direct link to the post for you guys and gals. Shits common sense but people still ignore it or think they know better. Don’t want to listen? That’s your choice.

*was added here by me since M covers it latter. But wanted to be sure I had it down here as well.

Now I’m going to post some supplies and shit that I’ve got for my own uses incase I need to hit the road quick. My own little bug out kit for when and if He shows up.

1x Canvas back pack. I reinforced the stitching on mine just as a precaution.
1x Camouflage 10 ft tarp.  Works well as a poncho or a make shift shelter if you need it.
2x 20 ft of para cord. Rope is never a bad idea.
1-3x Canteen. I’ve got three. Helpful incase you don’t have a clue where your next drink will come from.
1-???x Knife. A good sharp knife. It’s a great tool to have. I’ve got four or potentially more. But atleast four. Not going to share where they’re at. Figure out what works for you.
A change of clothes doesn’t hurt either. I’ve got one in the bag and ready to go.

Sticking this in here on the off chance any of you need help with knot tying. No point half assing something and having it fall in on you or get loose cause you didn't tie it up right.

That’s some fairly common sense shit. But hey common sense isn’t common. Some people need things pointed out for them. Some just need ideas. I’m just aiming to help people as best I can with what I’ve got so far. Also you need to be able to carry the bag yourself and the things you packed without any trouble. If it’s two heavy you’re just making yourself easier to get. Figure out what you can take and carry without putting yourself in jeopardy.

Regards,
Yawn
